How to sell recurring classes as tickets
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Short answer
When you create the event, set Repeat to Daily or Weekly and choose the number of dates (up to 12). Each date becomes its own event and Shopify product, so every class has its own capacity, tickets and check-in. Repeating events need the Pro plan.
Start a new event
Open EventTix → Events → Create event and fill in the first date of the class: title, venue, start and end time, and ticket types with their capacity.
Set the repeat Pro
Set Repeat to Daily or Weekly. In Number of occurrences (including this one), enter how many dates you want, from 2 to 12.
Check the dates and save
Each date is created as its own event and product, with the date added to the title. For example, “Thursday Clay Club — Feb 4”, “Thursday Clay Club — Feb 11”, and so on. Ticket sales end times move with each date.
Classes stay at the same local time when daylight saving time changes.
Good to know
- The Repeat option is only on the create form. To add more dates later, create a new series that starts after the last date.
- A repeating series cannot use Use an existing product, because each date needs its own product.
- Each date has its own capacity, attendee list and check-in count. If one date sells out, you can turn on a waitlist for that date.
- To show all upcoming dates together, add the products to one collection in your store.
